Step by step
- At a glance shows each person's emergency priority, suburb, language and culture, care partner, start date and the kinds of alert. Print as a call list prints the same people with their phone numbers and the people to call. Funding shows the budget figures.
- Support at Home has its own group in the menu — Participants, Claims, Estimator, Care management, Monthly statements, Quarter report and Price report. It shares your people, staff, roster, pay, documents, incidents and quality with every program you run.
- Where your practice also works under the NDIS, each person's own program decides what their record says: a new person starts on the program most of your people are on (change it for each person), an incident names its regulator once its person is chosen, and Quality & audits names both sets of standards.
- Statements gives every participant's monthly statement for a month, made from what their invoices charged to their budgets: open one, or Print all to print them or save them as one PDF.
- Quarter report shows each participant's quarter — budget, care management, rollover, supplements, spending in each contribution category, contributions and what is left — and the hours delivered by service type, with Download spreadsheet.
- Price report gives each service's most frequently charged price for each 2-month period, in the five time bands your website publishes; the standard business hours price is the one the department's report asks for.

Approved classification, waiting for funding
- When funding is allocated, record it with Change classification — interim or full.
A Support Plan Review request
Record a Support Plan Review you lodged in the My Aged Care portal: the day, what changed (in the portal's own words), whether it is urgent and why, the documents you attached, and that they agreed.
- End-of-Life reviews are always urgent — attach the End-of-Life Pathway Form. Each request shows how long it has waited until you record the outcome, and a follow-up stays open after it until you mark it done.
Supplements
The quarter's supplements, as Services Australia shows them on the participant's budget: each one's name and amount for the quarter.
- Each supplement goes on the participant's monthly statement beside the quarter's budget; Corella keeps it as you record it.
Add funding
Funding for a Support at Home participant.
- A pathway runs for up to 16 weeks. Assistive technology and home modifications funding runs for 12 months as a rule; high-tier home modifications can run to 24 on evidence of progress, and medium or high assistive technology to 48 for specific progressive conditions. A longer end date is refused, and so is one before the start.
- Assistive technology and home modifications have separate budgets, each with its own tiers: choose which one the grant is, then its tier from that list.
- High-tier assistive technology can go above its figure, with evidence. High-tier home modifications are capped per lifetime: earlier high-tier home-modification grants count against it.
- A person has one ongoing budget at a time, so ongoing funding over the same days as another is refused.
- Assistance dog funding is up to $2,052 a year (from 1 July 2026; $2,000 before) for the dog's essential upkeep, for 12 months at a time: more than the year's amount, or longer, is refused. Its items are claimed in the provider portal, as assistive technology is.
Enrol on Support at Home
Bring a participant into the scheme.
- Enrolling sets Funding on the client's record to Support at Home: only a Support at Home invoice is charged to these budgets.
Record an assessed contribution rate
The participant's assessed contribution.
Record the lifetime cap position
Where the participant sits against the lifetime cap.
The no worse off rule
- Services Australia applies the fortnightly cap when it pays a claim; its figure replaces Corella's on the invoice.
Call for a care plan review
A care plan review called for by one of the program's triggers: their needs or function changed, a new risk or an incident, a change in who cares for them at home, or they asked.
- A higher classification, assistive technology or home modifications, the End-of-Life Pathway and a change to their approved services call for one by themselves.
- One open review per trigger; record it as reviewed on the day it was. The Support at Home page lists every review due by care partner.
Record their exit
Their last day with you and why they left (another provider — named — permanent residential care, a death, or leaving Support at Home). Every funding of theirs still running ends on that day.
- Refused when a visit after that day is already charged to their funding — void that invoice first.
- Their page then lists what you owe: tell Services Australia and share the budget with a new provider within 28 days, finalise claims within 60, give the final invoice and statement, return a Home Care Package's Commonwealth portion you hold within 60 days and pay their own portion to them within 70 (to the estate 14 days after probate).
- After a death, record it on their record too — that is what cancels their visits and tells the team.
Agree a price
A price agreed with them in their service agreement for one service at one time of day (weekday, evening, night, Saturday, Sunday or public holiday). Their invoices use it instead of the service's own price.
- An ad hoc price is agreed with them before the service.
- Remove it to go back to the service's own price.
Referral and care partner
Their care partner, and the My Aged Care referral they came by: the referral code, the Notice of Decision's date, the day the funding was allocated and the services the notice approves.
- Everyone on Support at Home has a care partner, chosen from active staff.
- Until they start, the page shows the take-up window: services start within 56 days of the allocation (84 with an extension), or the funding is withdrawn.
Start notification
The day the start notification (the entry event, or Aged Care Entry Record) was lodged in the Aged Care Provider Portal. Until it is recorded, the page shows its deadline.
Services Australia care recipient ID
The identifier Services Australia gives the person, as the Aged Care Entry Record shows it: every Support at Home claim for them carries it.
Funding classification
- The open quarter is worked out again from the date of effect, day by day; later quarters use the new classification when they open.
Reopen ongoing funding
Ongoing funding that was ended — by mistake — runs again to the day you choose, with the reason kept, and the quarter it ended in is worked out again.
Correct the entry date
The entry date on their Aged Care Entry Record, which Services Australia works their budget out from. Their ongoing funding's start, their start date and a first classification dated on the old day move with it, and the first quarter is worked out again.
- Only within the quarter their funding starts in, while that quarter is open — a closed quarter keeps the budget it was reported with.
- Visits already charged before a later entry date are moved or removed first.
- The start notification's deadline follows the entry date; if it was recorded as lodged before the new date, Corella says so.
Services Australia's figure
The Total budget amount the Aged Care Provider Portal shows for their Home support ongoing budget, copied beside Corella's own figure for them — the quarterly budget less the 10% for care management (Services Australia puts that in your care management account), with supplements and carry-in.
- A difference usually means something recorded differently: the start date (the entry date on the Aged Care Entry Record), an end date on their ongoing funding, a classification or its date, or interim funding. Correct that first — then the two match on their own.
- An open quarter may use Services Australia's figure as its budget, with the reason; Corella's own figure is kept beside it, and a change to their classification works the quarter out again.
Interim or full funding
Each classification period with how it is funded: interim funding (the minimum service offer, "MSO" in the My Aged Care portal — 60% until the rest is allocated) or full funding. Mark a period as interim, record the date the full funding was allocated, or correct a period recorded as interim by mistake.
- The open quarter is worked out again; a closed quarter keeps its reported budget, with the change recorded beside it.
Restorative goal plan
The goal plan a Restorative Care Pathway episode requires: the restorative care partner, a review date, the planned hours a week, and the goals set with the participant, each with its baseline.
- Every goal needs its baseline — what was measured or seen at the start, in words — so its outcome can be written against it at the end.
- The planned hours are what you set.
- The pathway also needs an exit plan — what happens when the episode ends — written in the same dialog; the episode says when it is still missing.
End-of-Life Pathway Form
The form as the medical or nurse practitioner completed it: the day, their name, whether it states a prognosis of three months or less, and the AKPS score as written.
Outcome for this goal
At the end of the episode, what changed for this goal, in the clinician's own words, beside its baseline.
- Corella keeps the outcome exactly as written.
End funding
End a funding on a chosen last day — an episode that finished early, or a reassessment that moved them on.
- Visits up to and including the last day stay charged to it. If a visit after that day is already charged to it, the end is refused until that invoice is voided.
- Only the ongoing budget has quarters: a quarter that starts after the last day is removed, the open one is worked out again to that day, and a closed quarter keeps the budget it was reported with.
- Adding an End-of-Life episode ends the ongoing budget the day before it starts, by itself (program manual v4.4, §15.3).
- To correct a date or an amount, use Correct the entry date, Interim or full funding, or Services Australia's figure; ended by mistake, Reopen funding brings it back.
Extend funding
Extend an assistive technology or home modifications grant when the program extends it — high-tier home modifications to 24 months on evidence of progress, medium or high assistive technology for specific progressive conditions to 48.
- What the extension rests on is required and kept with it.
Cancel funding
Cancel a funding recorded in error, or withdrawn before it was used. The reason you give is kept with it.
- A planned visit that chose it keeps that choice, and its invoice says the funding was cancelled.
Unspent Home Care Package funds
For someone who moved over from a Home Care Package on 1 November 2025: record the unspent funds they held then — their own portion, the Commonwealth portion you hold, and the Commonwealth portion in their home care account — from Services Australia's and their previous provider's statements.
- Their own portion pays their contributions.
- Grandfathered participants: record the contribution rates Services Australia notifies (0% to 25%, clinical 0%).
This is the help Corella shows on this screen, word for word, written in its default words: client and carer.
