Compliance & documents

Audit-ready as a side effect of doing the work.

Most providers don't fail audits for lack of care — they fail them for lack of filing. Corella turns the evidence trail into a by-product of normal work: documents that police their own expiry, PDFs that generate and file themselves, and registers that keep their own deadlines.

Documents that police themselves

Organisation, client, staff and program files live in one library with categories, expiry dates and traffic lights — and the daily sweep alerts the right person before something lapses, including the staff member whose certificate it is. Documents carry codes and versions, so 'which policy is current' has one answer.

Read-and-acknowledge, actually tracked

Publish a policy and see exactly who has read and acknowledged it — an x-of-y matrix per document, and each staff member sees what they owe in their own view. When the auditor asks how you know staff read the new procedure, you show them.

The PDFs auditors expect, generated

Support plans, risk assessments, service agreements, intake snapshots and outcome or progress reports generate as branded PDFs straight onto the client file — consistent, current and never hand-assembled in Word at 4:45 pm.

Forms that finish the paperwork for you

Build custom forms with photo and drawn-signature fields and bind them to shifts. When finance approves a submission it becomes a PDF named the way auditors like, attaches itself to the client and the invoice — and shifts missing a required approved form stay out of the invoice run until the evidence exists.

Risk, WHS and the audit log

Five kinds of risk assessment — general, environmental, transport, personal emergency planning and provider impact — with matrix scoring and job-safety analysis, against clients and programs. A WHS register and a vehicle and asset register sit alongside, and the audit log records who did what, when, across the system.

Fair questions

Asked about this, often.

What's generated versus uploaded?
Both live on the file. Corella generates support plans, risk assessments, service agreements, intake snapshots and progress/outcome reports as branded PDFs; everything else — certificates, external reports, correspondence — uploads into the same library with the same expiry and visibility controls.
How do expiry alerts work?
A daily 7 am sweep checks document expiries, review windows, and registers — and alerts the right person. A staff member's expiring certificate alerts them directly, not just the office.
Can carers see policy documents?
Per-file carer visibility is a switch, and policies can require acknowledgement — carers see what they need to read and confirm in their own app.
Is there version control?
Documents carry a code and version, so superseded policies stay traceable while the current one is unambiguous.
