Step by step
- Choose who the quote is for: one of your clients, or an organisation from your directory (a facility, a hospital, a practice).
- Build the quote and make its PDF. Send, beside PDF on the quote's row, emails it to the quote's own address (you can change it) and the quote then reads Sent. Record the acceptance when it comes — or send an Accept online link instead.
- To quote again from an earlier quote, whatever its status, choose Copy to a new quote in its Actions menu: a new draft with its own number, dated today, with the same lines. The earlier quote stays as it was.
- An accepted quote for one of your clients can be turned into their service agreement. An organisation's accepted quote becomes that organisation's rate card under Payers: put the organisation as the payer on each episode they refer, and the invoice uses the quoted rate per service.
Tips
- Converting a quote for one of your clients carries the money across.
- An organisation's acceptance writes the rate card once.
- An earlier rate card for the same organisation is ended the day before the new one starts; a card that already starts later is left alone and the acceptance says so.

- Converting a quote to an agreement carries the money across. Check the figures at that point.
Accept online — a quote
- Create the link, then Copy it or use Open in your email — the email goes from your own mailbox. When they accept, the quote shows Accepted and can be turned into a service agreement as before.
- A link works for 14 days and can be used once; a new link cancels the one still awaiting. A lapsed quote can still be accepted, and the record says it was accepted after expiry.
This is the help Corella shows on this screen, word for word, written in its default words: client and carer.
