Step by step
- The arrows move a week at a time.
- The broken-shift allowance is paid from the unpaid breaks recorded on ONE of the day's timesheets (Edit, then unpaid breaks).
- Where the practice pays the broken-shift allowance from the day's own visits (Settings → Attendance rules), a timesheet's Broken shift says "Worked out from the day's visits": the pay run pays the day's allowance once, on its last visit.
- Approve from the scheduled times, or from the clocked times where they differ.
- Approving a timesheet for a visit that has ended makes the visit billable too, so the next invoice run picks it up.
- Query anything that looks wrong before approving — approval is what pays it.
- A shift's own form approves it too: open the shift on the roster, and its Timesheets panel offers the same Approve and Undo, with the same flags.
Tips
- Approving is the moment the hours become pay. Once a timesheet is in a payroll batch it is locked.
- Where your organisation refuses a clock outside the geofence, every refused attempt is listed there too — when, and how far away — and the office is told the first time, so the time can be recorded if the worker was really there.
- Where the national address file found only the street, someone in the office can confirm the street's point for that home; it lapses when the address changes.

Edit recorded times
Correct the start, finish or break on one carer's shift before it is approved.
- This is somebody's pay.
- Once the entry is in a payroll batch it is locked, and the correction has to happen in payroll instead.
This is the help Corella shows on this screen, word for word, written in its default words: client and carer.
